About Najath

Najath Arts and Science college started in 2014, affiliated to the university of calicut. It is managed by MMOC (Mannarkkad Muslim Orphanage Committee) and is certified as a minority educational institution by the Govt. of India.

The college is situated in a calm and beautiful landscape near the state highway to Attapadi and Silent Vally, about 500 meters from Nellipuzha junction.

MMOC started its mission in giving shelter to helpless boys and girls. The support and blessings of Chappanangadi Bappu Musliyar, Amanath Koyanni Musliyar, E.K Hassan Musliyar, Sayyid Muhammed Ali Shihab Thangal, C.H Muhammed Koya Sahib , A.P Muhammed Musliyar and several other leaders paved the way to establish the orphanage and educational institutions.

The college is functioning in a campus with 5.5 acres of land and a modern three storeyed building, to meet the requirements, of higher education. At present we have 9 UG programmes and 2 PG Programmes. 43 teachers and 10 non-teaching staff are working in the college.

We have women developments cell, english club, commerce club etc. in order to encourage the extra curricular activities of the students.
