About Department

The Department of Sociology started in Najath Arts and Science College, Mannarkkad in 2023. It was a humble beginning with 40 students. This is the first college which provided graduation in Sociology in Mannarkkad region.

To produce and promote sociological insights for an equitable society and critical thinkers, social change makers.

Mission

Prepare students for careers in social justice, policy making, advocacy and community engagements.
